Since I am still stuck on my storyboard, I have decided that I want to incorporate some other themes into the trailer. In some of the other film trailers that I have studied (The Exorcist, The Omen, Paranormal Activity), religion has cleverly been used to add substance to the story. Religion is a common theme in the horror genre; the supernatural horror sub-genre especially.

As a result of this research I have decided to incorporate religion into my trailer. Religion is also a convenient theme to include since my family are religious. This means that props will be easily found and available to use.
