Making the text look fancy - adding an effect/animations to the text!

To fit in with the rest of the film, I had to add the same 'flicker' effect to the text sections. However, I kept the production company out of this because it is supposed to look more professional and real production company logos/text have to look quite neutral in order to be generalisable to all of that company's films. The font for the company name is also different to make it seem more professional.

The next thing to do, is to add animations to my text. I want my animations to be simple yet effective so I thought that I would try to find an effect which looked like the text was being typed. However, I don't want all of my animations to be the exact same, as some should have more impact than others such as the title and the 'COMING SOON'.

These were my thoughts when I saw the selection of animations.

I tried all of these on, and ended up using the 'type' animation on the tag line, the 'glow' animation on the title, and the 'glow' along with the 'ghost' animation for the 'COMING SOON'. Although the title is possibly the most important part of the film, the 'COMING SOON' needs to be stronger because it is amidst more impactable scenes, and needs to stand out more.

I have decided not to use out animations because I don't feel like it will add to the effect of my trailer in a good way and I also think it will slow my trailer down too much and make it less scary.
