Editing!

Already, I know from the raw footage that I have what I need to do to edit my trailer.

- Fix errors
I need to just cut any irrelevant bits where my actors have slipped up for example bits where they are laughing.

- I need to jumble
The purpose of a trailer is to give away parts of the story, bur confuse the audience as to what the plot is. Therefore it is necessary to move scenes around to create this effect. I will still do this in the conventional way of a supernatural horror story for example I will put all the more fast paced and scary scenes at the end of the trailer to create that build up.

- Lighting
I had a lot of trouble with the lighting in my filming because I wanted my trailer to be somewhat dark in places, but that took away from the quality of the film. Therefore, I was forced to make the trailer seem darker during the editing process.

- Add in text
I need to simply add in parts stating the production company, the film title, and the release date.

- Sound
I obviously need to make sure that the sound in my trailer is pure enough and isn't crackly or anything. I also need to add in a few sound effects and possibly add in some music. This is probably the last thing I will do so that I won't need to move anything around.
